What to Expect
For as long as humans have existed on Mother Earth, we have turned to plants - not just for food, but also for healing. Medicinal plant use can be tied back to many ancient cultures from Egypt, India, China, Greece, the Philippines, and more.
Bundling and burning herbs for cleansing and intention has deep history and roots across many lineages, including Native American traditions of sage, cedar, and sweetgrass.
In this hands-on workshop, we’ll re-connect to what the sacred medicine plants have to offer, and create our own herb bundles. You’ll be guided to choose your plants by instinct & intuition, creating a unique bundle special to you and your intentions.
The plant medicine you connect to and walk away with in this workshop will be your own: entirely guided by your heart, shaped by your hands, and more powerful because you made it yourself.
All materials will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own plants/herbs as well!

About Mae
Maelynne (mae/marz; she/they) is rooted in social justice and equity work by way of education, community-weaving, poetry, and gardening.
Anchored in their Ilocano & Mindanaoan Filipino ancestry and with deep respect for the teachings they have learned from Indigenous elders and wisdom keepers of other ancestral traditions, their intention is to continue holding reverence for Land and deepening their relationship with plants as living teachers.
They currently participate in herbalism and permaculture apprenticeships, with the hope of inviting others to cultivate their own relationship with their ancestry, with plants, and ultimately caring for our Mother Earth.
