What to Expect
Join us in celebrating the vibrant tradition of the Day of the Dead - a time when families and communities come together to honor and remember those who have passed. Known as Undas in Tagalog and Dia de los Muertos in Spanish, this holiday is a joyful remembrance filled with offerings, lively festivities, and heartfelt memories.
On November 2nd, All Souls Day, we will gather to read aloud the names and honor their memory in a ceremonial fire.
For the ceremony, please bring flowers, photos, and/or mementos to add to the altar - these personal treasures help keep memories alive.
In advance of the event, we invite you to spend time at the Kapwa Wellness Altar, a sacred space to pay tribute to our dearly departed—family, friends, and beloved pets alike.
Please remember to collect any personal items by November 3rd, as the altar will be dismantled that day.
